Founder & President
Andrew Pudalov spent fifteen years working his way up through the competitive ranks of New York City’s financial sector. In 2004, he decided to leave his position as Head of a Global Fixed Income Derivative Desk at National Australia Bank and pursue a career path that was aligned with his personal values and ambitions. Andrew launched Rush Bowls in Boulder, CO in 2004 with a vision to create a place where people could eat healthy and enjoy the unadulterated and organic elements of the earth.
Founder & Partner
Dewey R. “Buddy” Brown has been involved in restaurant operations for over 30 years. He currently owns and operates nearly 300 restaurants, including Hardee’s, Carl’s Jr.’s, Dunkin Donuts, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut Express. Buddy’s operational excellence is so highly regarded by CKE, that he has been awarded many corporate stores with the knowledge that he is able to improve operations better than anyone in the industry. Prior to his franchise experience with Carl’s Jr. and Hardees, Buddy earned an MBA from the University of Missouri, was VP of Operations and Managing Partner for Mélange, Inc. (an acclaimed fine to casual dining restaurant group in Los Angeles), and successfully revived an underperforming restaurant group in Hawaii.
Chief Marketing Officer
Mark Kranjcec brings 15 years of marketing expertise to his role at Rush Bowls. He has consulted and guided thousands of businesses ranging from sole proprietors to international companies in both traditional and digital marketing. As Director of Digital Solutions for 17 MediaNews Group properties, he led sales teams and thrived in creating marketing and advertising programs that delivered results for local entrepreneurs. During his tenure at the digital agency Fruition, he consulted and led initiatives for international clients such as Creative Learning Corporation (corporate and franchise divisions), Kia, CKE and Coats & Clark amongst others.
Mark’s approach to marketing can be summarized as, “You never accomplish anything meaningful by trying to convince consumers that your product is the best out there. Instead, you look for ways to connect with people and groups who share similar values to yours and initiate an ongoing conversation. Marketing must communicate both ways for you to grow.”
Whitney Rajotte is the Director of Development for Rush Bowls. She brings 10 years of various restaurant experience and 3 years of working directly with Lund Brown’s franchise operations. During her restaurant tenure, she helped open 4 restaurants and was involved in hiring, training, menu development, and bar design.
Since relocating to Boulder, Whitney has worked closely with Buddy and his support staff. Her responsibilities have been numerous, and she has expanded her knowledge of the functions of operating a large-scale franchise. Whitney is looking forward to the rapid-growth opportunity to promote excellent customer service with a brand based in healthy living and eating.
