Tired of the amount of unhealthy fast food in New York City, Andrew Pudalov left for Boulder, Colorado on a mission to create a concept that serves healthy, wholesome and delicious products. After years of thorough research and concept testing, Rush Bowls was born!
Armed with a unique, healthy and extremely delicious product, Andrew went “all in” to test his concept by seeking out the most competitive real estate in Boulder, where only truly successful brands have survived. Andrew opened the first Rush Bowls on “The Hill” in near CU and immediately attracted hordes of raving fans.
On “The Hill” brands like Chipotle, Taco Bell, Quiznos and other national powerhouses opened shop, and quickly failed due to the competitive demographic. Rush Bowls is one of the very few concepts to have continued to succeed and grow.
Andrew partnered with prolific restauranteur, Buddy Brown. Buddy is one of the nation’s most successful franchise operators.
Following years of success in the Boulder college district, Andrew opened Rush Bowls second location in the increasingly popular Highlands neighborhood of northwest Denver, Colorado.
Andrew has received calls, emails and visits from customers asking to franchise Rush Bowls because they see opportunity. After 10 years of development, Andrew and the team have decided the time has come. In 2016, Rush Bowls started exploring franchise opportunities.
In the winter of 2015, Andrew partnered with prolific restaurateur, Buddy Brown, one the nation’s most successful franchise operators. Dewey R. “Buddy” Brown has been involved in restaurant operations for over 30 years.

Over that time, Buddy has won numerous operational awards, most notably: the Founder’s Trophy for Franchisee of the Year in 2002 and 2008; Sales Building award for the largest sales increase in 2008, 2013, 2014 and 2015; Developer of The Year 2008 and 2015, and was Carl’s Jr. Franchisee of the Year in 2013 and 2015.
Buddy understands what is required to ensure Franchise Owners success. He is the perfect partner for Rush Bowls and you, as we seek to grow the concept into a national powerhouse.
Buddy now owns and operates close to 300 Carl’s Jr.® and Hardee’s® restaurants. His expertise with building successful franchise operations from the ground up, along with Andrew’s vision, concept, business acumen and entrepreneurial instinct, create the foundation that will guide you towards success.
Buddy has witnessed the shift in consumer behavior, noting that consumers are now demanding healthier food choices. After researching countless emerging dining concepts, Buddy found Rush Bowls and instinctively knew it would be America’s next addiction.
A successful entrepreneur likely keeps these trade secrets close to the vest, right? Not at Rush Bowls. Co-Founder and Partner, Buddy Brown is one of the biggest Franchise Owners in the country, and will share his recipe for success with you if you become a Rush Bowls Franchise Owner.
